About this product
This Mizuno set combines JPX FLI-HI hybrids (4H, 5H) with JPX EZ irons (7-PW), skipping the 6-iron. The clubs feature graphite shafts in a senior flex, making them suitable for moderate swing speeds. The stainless steel heads offer durability. This 6-club set is designed for right-handed players and includes hybrids for easier long shots, with standard Mizuno specifications for length and lie angle.
Our take
I picked up this Mizuno combo set for the hybrids alone, and I'm glad I did. The JPX FLI-HI hybrids launch the ball high and forgiving, and the JPX EZ irons feel solid at impact. However, be aware that there's no 6-iron—you get 4H, 5H, then jump to 7-iron. That's a significant gap. The senior flex graphite shaft might be too soft for faster swingers, but for my moderate tempo, it works well. The set is reasonably priced for the quality, but you'll need to figure out the gap between the 5H and 7-iron.
