Our take
I've been using the Pacific Golf Clubs IDRIVE hybrid set for a few rounds now, and I'm impressed with how easy they are to launch. The regular flex graphite shafts feel smooth and help get the ball airborne quickly. The ultra aggressive lofts definitely add distance, but I did notice that they can lead to less spin, making stopping on greens tricky. The set covers all the essentials from 3-iron through SW, which is convenient. The grips are standard size and fine for me. My biggest gripe is that the quality control seems a bit hit or miss—the ferrule on my 5-hybrid was loose out of the box. For $500, it's a decent value if you want a full hybrid set, but don't expect tour-level consistency.
